Aktualizacja Dayz 1.15

Z radością ogłaszamy, że ostatnia aktualizacja gry (v1.15) tego roku  została wydana na wszystkie platformy. Chociaż ten patch może nie mieć dużego wpływu na zmiany w grze, jak poprzedni, ale wciąż zawiera wiele mniejszych zmian jakości życia, ładnie zamykając koniec bardzo pracowitego roku dla DayZ. Na samym dole znaleźć będzie można pełny Changelog dla PC i konsol.

Przedstawiamy kolejny karabin szturmowy typu bullpup – kultowy AUR . Występuje w dwóch wariantach, obydwa akceptują amunicję NATO 5,56. Wariant A1 oferuje ograniczoną możliwość personalizacji dzięki stałej lunecie i dedykowanemu magazynkowi na 30 naboi. Wariant AX natomiast oferuje pełną gamę opcji dla lunet, tłumika i jest kompatybilny również ze standardowymi magazynkami. Oprócz nowego karabinu wprowadzamy również nowe wyposażenie cywilne – kamizelkę myśliwską , która oferuje dużą pojemność i można ją znaleźć na terenach łowieckich. Na koniec wprowadzamy również połączenie drutu kolczastego i kija bejsbolowego, aby stworzyć wyjątkowo wyglądający i potężny kij bejsbolowy z drutu kolczastego .

Zupełnie nowa ocalała kobieta jest teraz dostępna w głównym menu wyboru postaci, aby zwiększyć różnorodność. A skoro mowa o postaciach, naprawiliśmy poważny problem z kominiarkami i wszystkimi dostępnymi nakryciami głowy. Patrząc na nakrycie głowy, wprowadziliśmy również zmianę, która umożliwia noszenie latarki czołowej w slocie ekwipunku okularów , co oznacza, że od teraz będziesz mógł nosić latarkę czołową wraz z wybranym nakryciem głowy .

Dostosowaliśmy zużycie i progi wody oraz energii gracza w sposób, który utrudnia utrzymanie wyższych wartości jednocześnie zmniejszając ich wpływ na niższe wartości (Co obejmuje niższe szkody dla zdrowia bohatera). Dostosowane progi dają lepsze informacje o tym, kiedy dokładnie powinieneś zacząć dbać o potrzeby swojej postaci, a zmniejszona szybkość przetwarzania zawartości żołądkowej oznacza, że trudniej jest zjeść wszystko na raz (z reguły jedzenie zajmuje więcej czasu).

W ramach naszych nieustających wysiłków, aby zapewnić bardziej wciągające wrażenia, dodajemy dźwiękowe sprzężenie zwrotne do przełączania trybów ognia w broni palnej. Dodaliśmy także nowe, ekranowe, kierunkowe efekty trafień . Zastępują one poprzedni efekt czerwonej winiety teksturą splash, która pomaga również określić kierunek, z którego nadszedł atak. Ta funkcja jest również w pełni konfigurowalna po stronie serwera. 

Właściciele serwerów otrzymują dodatkowe narzędzia do zarządzania swoimi serwerami bez konieczności bezpośredniej modyfikacji plików gry poprzez dodanie ustawień rozgrywki po stronie serwera. Obejmują one nowy sposób konfigurowania pogody , dostosowywanie różnych funkcji rozgrywki (takich jak konstrukcja, limity rozmieszczania, wytrzymałość i nowe efekty wskazywania trafień) i wreszcie nowy sposób pojawiania się różnych obiektów w celu wzbogacenia środowiska za pomocą nowego generatora obiektów . 

Jest to szczególnie interesujące dla wszystkich właścicieli serwerów konsoli społeczności, którzy mają teraz wszystkie nowe opcje dostosowywania swoich serwerów za pomocą panelu sterowania.
